Children Of Men

Apocalyptic look at a future where women can no longer have babies.  It’s quite dark and violent.  There is some weak acting and poor editing and you’re left with a lot of loose ends.  There are also gaping holes in the plot.

However, it was nominated for Oscars in the following categories:

Pretty Persuasion

Poorly directed, so one is left feeling that the story does not properly flow.  The acting is also not great.  It’s low budget and the story line is a little far fetched.

Nobody should watch this.  It is unbelievably offensive.  Surely someone will shoot this man?

Bee Season

It’s drama. But,worse than that, it’s confusing and you’re left with a sense of “what happened”. On the plus side, the acting is good and the CG effects are great.
